Why It's Different:
The 6 setting dial adjusts to a man's facial contours and type of beard to maintain the optimum shave. Made in Germany.

Tip:
Twist the upper part of the handle to find the setting that gives you the closest, most comfortable shave. Uses any standard double edge blade, but Merkur Super Platinum Blades are recommended. Replace blade approximately once a week. Use with your favorite shave cream.

    This razor is part of my morning routine, a small moment of relaxation just focusing on the sound of the blade, the angle of the razor and the sensation of a good shave. The ability to adjust the height of the head gives you a personalized shave. And it's a great choice for guys new to safety razors; you can start small and work your way up to your ideal setting. Changing blases is a snap with the pop-off head. I don't think I'll be needing another razor for a long time.
